On today’s show Dr. Ed shares a 1965 interview where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. appeared on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” Also shared is a second interview with Dr. King just months before his assassination. The purpose is to show the difference in how the media covered MLK and his social unrest in comparison to how they cover BLM and the social unrest it causes. Also notice that Dr. King’s response and tone, unlike the modern day activists, was civil. Unfortunately, the “civil” discourse is completely lost today.
