A seminal text in the history of writings on the “Jewish Question,” The Conquest of the World by the Jews was possibly the first booklet written that formulates the theory of a world Jewish conspiracy. Hence it has been condemned and censored ever since its publication in French in 1873 under the title La Conquête du monde par les Juifs by Major Osman Bey—a pseudonym for Frederick Millingen (1836–1901).
The book offers Bey’s observations regarding how the so-called “principle of material interests” allegedly pursued by Jewish groups enslaves the people via financial oppression. It also claims to expose the magnitude of global Jewish solidarity. To quote the author: “If you attack one Jew in any particular place, all the Jews of the five continents arise as one man.”
After writing the “anti-Semitic” booklet, which gained worldwide notoriety, Millingen, in his own words, was “hounded across Europe” by a transnational cabal of “Judeonihilists and their allies,” who would pressure nations to blacklist and expel him. When Millingen calculated all the times he had been forced to leave European nations due to this Jewish pressure campaign, he pronounced himself the “most-expelled man of the 19th century.”
