The well-known Black South African racist, Julius Malema, leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) party, has been denied a visa to visit the UK over his support for the Palestinian cause, and not primarily over his anti-White rhetoric, as claimed by the controlled media.
According to Britain’s BBC, the red-beret-wearing Malema was denied a visitor’s visa for the UK on June 18, 2025, on account of his being “central to a row over race relations in the country.”
The BBC quoted the UK’s Home Office as saying that that Malema had been deemed “non-conducive to the public good” and that it was “undesirable” to grant him entry.
The BBC article went on to say that the Home Office said Malema had made “statements calling for the slaughter of white people [in South Africa] or hinted that it could be an acceptable option in the future”, and also cited this as a reason for its decision.
However, a full reading of the official Home Office statement reveals that Malema’s well-known anti-White racism—and in particular his repeated singing of a song which calls for the murder of White people—was not the major reason for the denial of his visitor’s visa.
“I note that you have made statements in support of Hamas, an organisation who are proscribed in the United Kingdom.
“In an address outside the Israeli Embassy on the 23rd of October 2023, days after the October 7th attack on Israel, you stated that when your political party took over following the 2024 South African elections that you were ‘going to arm Hamas and make sure Hamas got the necessary equipment to fight for their freedom’.
“During this same address, you state that Hamas had no option but to fight for their freedom.
“In April 2024, the EFF, the political party which you lead, posted on X that the ‘Palestinian people have the fullest right to take up arms against apartheid Israel, and that the EFF supports the armed struggle of Hamas and Hezbollah’.
“I have considered that you made multiple statements which explicitly support Hamas and their terrorist activities. As noted, Hamas is proscribed in the UK.”
The Home Office statement then went on to mention Malema’s singing of his anti-White songs as an additional reason, and concluded by saying:
“I consider that the above statements, in particular the fact that you have justified the actions of a proscribed terrorist organisation and stated your intention to support and arm them, mean your presence in the UK is not conducive to the public good.”
It is, however, obvious that Malema’s singing of the “Kill the Boer” song is not the real reason for his visa denial.
The EFF party was founded in 2013 and is now 12 years old. Malema is on record as having performed this song in public since 2010—when he was still president of the African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL).
As of the latest reported instance in 2025, Malema has been singing or chanting versions of “Kill the Boer” for at least 15 years (2010–2025).
* In March 2010, at a University of Johannesburg event, then ANCYL president Malema sang “Kill the Boer.”
* In October 2020, EFF supporters, led by Malema, chanted “Kill the Boer” outside a courthouse during a protest related to the murder of a White farm manager, Brendin Horner.
* In July 2023, Malema led an estimated 90,000 supporters in singing “Kill the Boer” during the EFF’s 10th anniversary celebration. The event gained international attention after a video clip went viral, prompting criticism from Elon Musk, who accused Malema of promoting “white genocide.”
At the same time, Malema has been granted a visa to visit the United Kingdom at least three times since 2010, based on publicly available records.
* In July 2012, Malema traveled to London for a press tour and speaking engagements. The trip was organized by UK-based events companies CMG and Base Africa, with Conrad Mwanza, a representative, stating that Malema’s views on economic emancipation resonated with the Caribbean community in the UK. Malema met with prominent African businessmen, Zimbabwean expatriates, and gave media interviews, advocating for nationalization and economic transformation.
* In 2015, Malema undertook a speaking tour in the UK from November 24 to 29, 2015, as announced by the EFF on X. He addressed high-profile institutions, including the Oxford Union at Oxford University and Chatham House in London. Malema discussed the EFF’s radical economic policies, such as land expropriation and nationalization, and met with business leaders.
* In December 2015, Malema had further engagements in the UK, following his November tour, reportedly meeting with the “pan-African movement” and business leaders to clarify the EFF’s policies.
It is clear, therefore, that his singing of the “Kill the Boer” song was of absolutely no concern to the UK government at all.
It is only since the outbreak of the latest round of fighting in Gaza and Lebanon with Israel that Malema has now suddenly been declared “not conducive” to UK public safety—in other words, it is only because of his anti-Israel stance that he has now been barred from the UK.
As long as he was “only” being anti-White, he was welcomed with open arms by the UK authorities.
* In August 2019, the Orwellian-named Equality Court in South Africa ruled that merely displaying the old South African flag, used from 1928 to 1994, constituted hate speech under the Promotion of Equality and Prevention of Unfair Discrimination Act. The ruling was upheld by the Supreme Court of Appeal in 2021.
However, in August 2022, the Equality Court ruled that Malema’s singing of “Kill the Boer” song did not constitute hate speech or incitement to violence. This ruling was upheld by the Supreme Court of Appeal in 2024 and the Constitutional Court in February 2025.
